Turbo - kickdown lag ?
 

Hi all

I have a XC60 D5 ( 09 ) and I really love it. Great size and powerful, I bought it mainly for tugging around my massive white shed which it does with ease.

However, one annoying thing (when Im not towing) is lag when I put my foot down. Its ok on the M-ways as I usually have plenty of time to plan a move but on other roads trying to get past stuff is a pain as timing the overtake, taking into account the lag can be tricky.

Is it usual on the XC60s to have this lag ?

Is it turbo lag or just lag on the kickdown when the foot goes down ? or combination of both ?
