What's best advice to remove fine swirls marks
 

In my garage it has extremely strong led lighting picks up everything I noticed very fine swirl marks what's best to try remove them

I've tried meg hairs compound and polish still there any ideas please

In truth there is no quick remedy , other than a rotary polishing machine ( like a large angle grinder ) used with soft foam pads , lambs wool bonnets , light pressure & a LOT of time and your choice of compounds / polishes

There are many youtube sites showing you how to achive the perfect finish . I know my boss spent 3 weeks compounding & polishing his C70 , now it looks factory fresh ( or better )

Son't use lambswool pads unless you want more swirls. Good quality foam pads are the way to go. Read as much as you can before tackling the job. Also the 2 bucket method when washing will help keep it swirl free for longer.

I dunno if it's just me and my imagination...

Last bit of valeting for me is a once-over with Meguair's QD (quick detailing) polish on a well-laundered micro-fibre cloth. And I don't see swirls.

It's what a lot of car showrooms use as well.

Swirl removal is dependent on so many factors, pads/product combo, number of passes, speeds, hardness of the paint, level of correction you're after, and the machine you're using. 205 and 105 on an orange and white lake country pad is generally a pretty reliable "do it all", as is Scholl Concepts S20 on a white pad.

The other option is to correct as much as you can in the time you have and then apply a good quality glaze prior to a sealant/wax which will mask the swirls.

or ultimate quick detailer hydrophobic polymer technology ..

Hmmm... Never noticed there were two types!

I've just had a look and the one I have at the moment is the ultimate/hydrophopic one. Perhaps that's why any rain beads very easily.

afetre washing and drying off car and use maguairs qd do you then wax or sealant what do you advise
