Classics and Supercars at the Castle, Sherborne 17th July
 

Would anyone here in the South be up for a stand at 'Classics and Supercars at the Castle', near Sherbourne 17th July. It'd be an opportunity for those in the South to have a group stand. Information can be seen here;

It's £10 per car for either a 25ftx25ft plot or a 50x50 plot, with four 50x50 stands being the maximum per club. There is also a free car entry for one car per stand. It's quite a nice setting in the Dorset countryside and over 8000 people a year visit with an autojumble, trade stalls and over 1200 cars displaying.

Who in the South would be interested? I have to get the application sent off and pre-paid before 1st July so little bit of time. It is primarily a charity-focused event which donated over £20,000 to various local and national charities following the 2015 event. I'll be taking the 240 if anyone else is onboard?

I'd be interested in getting a classic stand up and running if anyone is interested?

Hopefully some will be interested likewise with other events. Seems this one is a ripper.

Update: for those who would be interested in attending, I have to get the stand finalised and paid by mid-June so the organisers have sufficient time to get the passes and documentation sent out. Seeing they had 1600+ cars, clubs and owners last year with F1/WRC/British Rally/hillclimb with a whole plethora of clubs and retired race drivers attend last year it makes sense to get it all pre-paid and so on first.

Who's up for it with the classic Volvos? £10 a head.

There will be plenty of space, I'll be sending off the payment for the stand this week and give them a ring to suggest the best way of others paying.

You are indeed one of the three confirmed Carlo..! So far it's you, myself and Torsten (GLThor), and with the addition of moooper that makes four. Hopefully by the end of June we'll have some more to make an ample stand.

Scroll down to page 7. I'll put the stand under 'Volvo Owners UK', as I'm not sure I can put it down under 'Volvo Owners Club'. The Portsmouth section are away so unfortunately they wont be able to attend.

I wonder if this could be stickied by probably not..
