Hi, would this give detail to be able to diagnose Park Assist service fault, guessing it’s come on as I moved my car with the rear bumper off and just needs a reset, thanks in advance

Yes it will communicate with the PAM to get fault codes and live readings to assist with fault finding.

Sold out for now and the next batch will be available in the coming week.
Most have been reserved and will be sent out once tested.
A couple of Dice left to reserve.

Vida won't be of any use as it only covers up to 2015 model year but the Dice tool I sell can be used with the free VDash software for code reading and additional paid functions via d5t5.com.

It works on most but there's not a blanket answer.
I'd need your Mac model, model year and IOS version.

Hi and thanks for that.. it wouldn't be a macbook etc but iphone11 or ipad air.
Iphone running 14.5.1 at the moment.

I'd like to use the ipad for the bigger screen which i believe is running ios 12. something at the moment.

If you could advise further that would be great.

Regards...

Neither have USB A ports to connect the Dice and I've never heard of anyone running a Vida setup in the manner you suggest.
I'm not saying it's impossible but I only sell guaranteed working solutions so I'll say no.

You can pick up used Windows laptops very easily so that would be the simplest solution rather than trying to make more obscure options work.

Thanks again then. Was hoping the ipad could be put to good use there but appreciate your help and advice.

Sometimes a little extra outlay is required but as you can sell it on when you're done and recoup your money, the net cost of any option is very low and always cheaper than £100 a time code reads at a main dealer.

Makes sense I suppose. I'll have a look round for a 'cheapish' MacBook ;)

Mac.

If you only want it for Vida, a Windows laptop would be cheaper.
The virtual machine run in a Macbook is a Windows machine anyway so no benefit to having a Macbook unless you're going to be using it for other things.
