Whine while fettling the accelerator. D5

Hi everyone
I'm new to the site so I hope I'm doing this correctly.
I've had a good look to see if anyone has had the same issue I'm having, and although I've found similar they are not quite the same issues.
I've got a 2007 XC90 D5 with 110000miles on the clock.
Iv got a sound that's difficult to explain coming from what sounds like the passage foot well.
It's like a whining/rubbing sound while the car is moving but only when the accelerator is being slightly pressed.
When the car is coasting its completely silent.
At first I thought transmission issue but what's throwing me is when you turn left while still slightly pressing the accelerator the sound stutters and them stops the more tighter the turn. But when I turn right the sound continues. So I thought wheel bearing. But I'm not convinced.
Any thoughts. Would appreciate input

Maybe a bit of slack in one of the front drive shafts? The small extra load of a bit of throttle could be causing a resonance?

Ive got almost the identical thing happening. Had it looked at today and the mechanic said the only thing he could find wrong was one of the engine mounts was starting to wear, so could be vibration from that.

I have decided not to do anything about it just yet though.

Sorry for the late response. Thank you for the input.
I did think driveshafts as it seems to be affected by the steering. But would it be drive shaft or the bearing in the transmission output.
And what do you mean by slack?
