Hope that's Not me your referring to.

Because I waited after D.I.S had made his offer and TWO Hrs later it was posted as Not Sold, QUOTE( "No it didn't sell")
ONLY then did I send a PM, presuming that their negotiations had finished

Ffs.

At the time I posted that I was waiting for a price, I hadn't heard anything from the potential seller. Hence waiting for a price.

Tuesday, the seller PMd me asking for an offer, which I gave.
For all I know, he may have PMd you asking for offers too.

It's now Friday night and I've still heard nothing back.
Perhaps you offered more than me.

At the moment, I honestly don't care.

Life's too short to bicker about a 2nd hand part that would still require further investment to make usable with hoses, etc and to be honest I have enough to worry about in life without it.

This is me stepping aside, you're welcome to it.

Fill your boots, Fella.

I asked the same question,

And have not received an answer either.

I have not offered a price because, I am also looking at Universal Coolers with pipes and thermostat.

This one would just fit easier with no real mods to do.

There is so many out there from different cars that will fit reasonably easy.
Joe.

when the boys at work used to play up, I told them I'd build
a grandstand and invite their parents and their children over

how fortunate to not also have to be burdened with illiteracy

perhaps with your combined enthusiasm you could all get on

Even Volvo admit the they're happy to see ATF burn. Yet no matter how many times I say this on various threads, It seems many just can't quite make the leap. The same mindless 'Volvo Service Dept speak' comes back. It's a wonder some remember to breathe.

We soldier on.

I really don't understand the fascination with any particular cooler. Why would you want any particular cooler when teh first you can get cheaply that fits will be fine?

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The cooler is the easy bit. The cheap bit. This is not critical, the fluid and its level is, a cooler is a cooler is a cooler.

The money and the time to make it work will be in mounting it and the hoses.
£25 delivered should be all you need to pay. Raid your breakers; the hoses another £10enner; a few jubilee clips another £5iver. A Magnefine would be good, but no one seems to sell them in the UK.

All in, this generic cooler would do, as would any number raided from your breakers yard, a cooler is a cooler is a cooler.

Read (and understand) the full thread.

On your marks, jubilee clips at the ready. No pressures involved. Cobble it together. I'm still getting PMs on this. Be clear, don't fixate on any particular cooler, any small cooler you can find space to fit will do. Concentrate on how to mount and plumb the thing.

My car dosent do high mileage, I done a full fluid bleed when I bought the car at 85k in 07, just done a sump drain at 113k and its dark red. I think moving forward I'm going to do a sump drain with my annual service.
On a similar note I've just used Euro QX multi auto fluid that says it covers Dexron II right through to JWS 3309.

Pretty similar with me too. I bought the car with 150k on it last August and sump, dumped it straight away using around 12 litres. I only do 8000 miles a year, but plan on dumping it annually using fully synthetic. I use Westway Lubricants fully synthetic Dexron 3 which comes in at around 5 quid a litre bulk buying off Ebay.
