S40 in car phone?

I'm buying my brother's '05 S40 and I was just wondering... and this might sound silly... but can you dial a phone from the thin center console? If so, can you dial the phone if you have the bluetooth gadgets? hehe

Any help would be great! Thanks! :)

great question

ive got the nokia 6680 which has voice command, but ive never worked out how to use the phone.to understand these new phones you have to be certified by NASA,and even then actually involved in the launch programme.

i think its the bluetooth enabling on the phone and using voice command that makes the calls, not the car itself, but if someone calls your pone answers on the second ring and the bluetooth plays it through the speakers

If you have the integrated phone (not bluetooth) you will see letters on the numbers (e.g. Number1 = ABC) this will allow you to call and txt from the dash otherwise you won't be able to.
