I have a shall we say tired genuine Volvo 240 tow bar taken off my 1992 SE estate. It has the necessary holes for the screw fittings to support the valance that your car probably has. It has two towing height positions. It is tough so it gives a very stable tow. Chuck the load on, I reckon this will cope all day and all night.
I might be persuaded to include the also tired rear valance which has the correct cut outs for this tow bar. Especially if you have an uncut rear valance you want to exchange.
I'll part with this tow bar because I have fitted a less tough but more convenient fold away tow bar. I Paid £25 for the one I'm using now. The one I'm using is tidier but I think only suitable for my current likely very ossasional short distance use. I can haggle from that price upwards for this one depending re the valance and how far I travel.
I'm in Thurrock. I could meet you towards Ipswich.
Do send me a pm if you are interested. Give me an email address and I will try to take and send a pic of the tow bar. A drop of Hammerite would transform it.
