After much heart wrenching I have decided to part company with my beloved and meticulously maintained T5. I bought her 23 years ago at 18 months old for £21k so surely today she is a snip at £500 ! Enthusiasts only need apply

Odo cog broke at 146k suspect she has approx 165k " on the clock "

GOOD POINTS

new plugs diz rotor leads etc approx 5000 miles ago
Ditto cambelt and waterpump
She is as quick if not faster than both my R's
Apart from an intermittent starting problem resolved by para 1 above this beauty has never let me down - astonishingly reliable beast
Lots of meat on discs and pads
Very clean interior
2 working fobs but no key

BAD POINTS

clutch needs replacing however if you live in the Fens or similar I reckon you will get another 5 years out of her. Does not slip at all but will struggle to engage on a steep incline
Paint lacquer shot
PCV needs doing

After the lock out saga I just said to myself the fleet is just too big which is why I did the stupid thing I did !!!

Gotta say I am not over fussed if our chaps do not realise what they are missing, she is taxed til December and insurance now due us 150 quid so I shall just keep her

Picked her up from the garage complete wi5h new clutch fluid line and on way back really enjoyed flying, too many time wasters in intervening period !
