Practical caravan
FYI
I have found the forum on the practical caravan magazine site to be very useful. www.practicalcaravan.com Of course I would use this site for all of my Volvo-Caravanning requirements! |
Have also used it., Very good....and you can get some real whizzbang fiery discussions at times. The moderator has on occasions deleted a number of threads because of personal remarks. It would never happen here?????

Get off my land
Oh yes, 'vanners are very passionate about our pastime.
We did include the wrinkly brigade, the grumpy old men and women... Anoraks at ten paces! Competitions to see who can create the biggest tailback... :oP |

Hi, we have a policy of not deleting posts unless there is a very good reason! We most certainly won't delete a post because we don't agree with someones point of view! (unless the post is clearly inappropriate). |

Are you talking campervans, or RV's. Quite a difference. Mind you when I was a young stripling,(a long time ago) I worked in a VW garage as a poorly paid mechanic, busting my gut on beetles etc. However, the boss had one of the old split window VW kombi buses. As a laugh?? he fitted the engine from a Porsche. Didn't bother about the drum brakes, after all it was in the early 60's. He could just about do wheelies with the thing. As he raced motorbikes on the side he knew a lot more than me how to drive the thing. He took the engine out fairly smartish tho' as his wife gave him hell. She felt the motorbikes were bad enough to put up with.
