Another eBay bargain?
These seem somewhat expensive...

Yes - but these are for sale on mainland Europe, where I gather from a Dutch friend prices are much higher. Would you pay over £5k for a reasonable Volvo 240 - over there you would. Thats why so many nearer Europeans are at the September Beaulieu autojumble - a quick nip under the channel and belt along the A27 (when roadworks permit), and prices they are willng to pay.
Did you see the asking prices of restored 1930s motorbikes on the French stand there? Two of them and you could buy my house! Excluding availability we don't know how lucky we are over here for bits for our older cars, although the same couldn't be said for new cars and associated bits. Paul |
Valid arguments, Paul, except he's not trying to sell them in France, he's listing them on eBay UK, so I stand by my original comment.

At least over here in Holland prices are artificially kept high by the tax free status for pre 87 cars (Volvo 240 on petrol tax is 600 euro, LPG 1200/year. You see a steep drop in price after that year, to about 500-3000 euro.
A pair of NOS blinker covers is expensive, yes, probably was the same 40 years ago. The chrome trim around the edge is missing though. |

I bought the Chrome trim new from Amazon cars, it came in a Skandix packet. So it is available, I can't remember how much I paid, but it can't have been that expensive.
