Volvo V70 rear bumper bracket problem
Just wandering how you would remove the rear bumper if the two bolts that hold the bumper under the car shear off, or the nuts just spin when the brackets rot, not allowing the bolts to come out!

bumper brackets
my thoughts are disc cut the bottom section of the c shaped bracket off and the head of the long bolt- this should allow the bumper to drop out the bottom ,leaving the top section and long bolt behind.
then get some new ones -ttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VOLVO-REAR-BUMPER-METAL-BRACKETS-PAIR-850-ESTATE-V70-CLASSIC-6816114/222020430653?epid=1317072876&hash=item33b172eb3d:g :0oUAAOSwWTRWu2EA:rk:2:pf:1&frcectupt=true |
Yes that should work. Just bought a V70 Cross country that has a sagging rear bumper. Not sure yet if the bolts will be knackered.
