What year car do you have?
Have you cleaned the EGR mixer recently? Have you blanked the EGR valve? Start from cleaning the mixer: http://volvoforums.org.uk/showpost.p...6&postcount=56 http://volvoforums.org.uk/showpost.p...3&postcount=57 This might be your potential fault. Good luck |
Hi Its An S-60 D5 51 plate, wheres the air mixer ?

See the links I posted
http://volvoforums.org.uk/showpost.p...6&postcount=56 http://volvoforums.org.uk/showpost.p...3&postcount=57 Check if the mixer is not blanked. This might cause emissions service message. Look around at the forum for blanking EGR. |
Hi big split in feed pipe from Grille to torbo, have taped it up as an interim repair, any online cheap idea's for an S-60 D-5 '51 plate-Turbo air feed pipe ??

Contact Rufe from the forum. He sells genuine volvo parts for discounted prices.
Which hose is it exactly? Is it the one just after the air filter and MAF or maybe it is the one before the air filter? |
Hi,
It's the pipe that goes from the radaitor intake area runs around dip stick and then down to head down into turbo. What was the name rufen ? |

Hi mate, thanks thats great I will give him a bell, thanks alot .

Could you post up a pic where you found the split?
I have a whistling too that *supposedly* is the turbo. Any loss in power below 1800rpm by any chance that is back now you've taped it up? BTW: I think Matt may have had some trouble understanding your description as the pipe runs from the turbo to the radiator (intercooler), not the other way around (at least when you take the direction of the airflow as the 'flowdirection'.) |
