'72 144DL Auto Breaking
 

I am breaking a complete 1972 K-reg 144DL. Last on the road in 2012.

I am having the engine, but everything else is available before it goes off to never-never.

The bodywork - white - has had it. I would be surprised if anything there is salvageable. The interior is red, but with some splits in seats and includes headrests. The bumpers appear to be good and all trim is complete including 4 hub caps and rings. There's a working Volvo radio and there are 4 Volvo plastic mats which appear to be in good condition.

From this weekend, the car will be located in Devon and I am frequently traveling around everywhere from Birmingham downwards. I am able to get bits taken off for you or you can come and get if you prefer.

Anyone interested in the complete car minus the engine will be my friend for life!

hi - what are the brakes like?

especially calipers - mine are rubbish

Probably all good to work on/refurbish to be honest. The old car's been stood since 2012.

Are they the same calipers as a 1970??

Might have been interested in the remains but it would be a 1000 mile round trip for me... Need the front and rear axles and lots of other bits n bobs for my 142 shell
