'Tan Hill" meet sometime this summer ?

Having visited a lot. This place is a dream for clubs etc . Amazing roads and a REAL pub with animals of all sorts inside ! Good food and a good old smokey fire .
Seen a few meets there and they are all saying its a good place .

Free camping i believe and they have a few rooms and a "Bunk room" (can only imagine the combinations of smells in the morning !)
Some excellent roads to find out if you have any life left in your clutch etc and your brakes are working !! The famous "Butter tub " pass is good.....but there are much better roads near by !!!

Sounds fantastic but a little more info might convince more to go?
I haven't a clue where it is?north ? south?

The cost of fuel could be a big decider these days.
Regards Brian.

Just googled it and it is fantastic.
Sadly to far for me being four hours away or 227 miles.

What about Layburn, Reeth, and Tan Hill, takes you through the butter tubs, or round route from scotch corner/A66.

Hawes to the Tan is a nice drive and Hawes is Lovely ! But some might not "like" the roads.....!! Sick bags at the ready if you "push on"

My little one threw his breakfast after a fast bend after a hump back bridge "FLIGHT" !!

Drive to the road conditions lol. We hardy Yorkshire folk are used to the twisty fast roads.
