LPG ignition timing

Does anyone have experience with timing advance processors for adjusting ignition timing curve for lpg ? I have found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ignition-T...item2ecabe5c17 and many others...

I've heard that this sort of mod is likely to do more harm than good.

The experience with my 1997 V70, which covered a total of 250,000 miles on LPG and is as far as I know still going strong, is that LPG did absolutely no harm to the engine at all. In fact the oil always looked as clean when it came out as when it went in, and the PCV system stayed spotlessly clean. the engine never burnt any oil, and never gave indication of developing valve gear problems.

My car had the B5252S engine with the Fenix 5.2 engine management system, a proper cable throttle, dissy cap and rotor.

Cheers
