Independent Volvo Servicing

I have come over from the dark side...Just sold my third Saab, a 95 estate with 144000 on the clock, sad to see it go but happy with its replacement...
2016 Volvo V70 D3 auto estate.
Does anyone know of a good independent Volvo specialist near Newbury? I do most of my own maintainance but these cars are quite hi tech now and I'm sure to need someone to help at some point.
Thanks

I was in the light side for over 40 years

There used to be a recommended Indie in Wantage run by a former Volvo master tech.

Not being down that end of the world now I can't add anything other than that.

This topic (at the top of the "General" sub-forum) might help?

Thanks for this, I will give him a call

The chap in Wantage has retired and his son now runs the business.
They no longer specialise in Volvos.
The list of independents from VOC is good though, I will try here next...

I have recently purchased my 3rd Volvo (V70) and I have a Saab (900 'vert) so am I on the dark side or the light side? or double dark side? B)

A 35 mile drive for you, but I've used Camberley Independent Volvo Centre for the last 5 years and they have been very good, and labour is reasonable too for the SE (£50+vat IIRC)

www.civc.co.uk

I make the 35 mile drive to the from London to avoid the £100++ per hour labour charge which is typical in and around the capital

Nomansland Volvo Garage near Salisbury is very, very good. Their forte are the V70 T5/D5 cars, FWD, even did my 240 for a few bits.
