buying xc60

hello im looking at buyiong a xc60. ive had volvos in the past and they mostly great apart from the a v50 that had dogy repaire.
any how im wondering if the blutooth system can music stream i do this alot in my qashqia i have now. and would like carry on but i kow from my v50 that if it dont have blutooth to do so it can be a expensive to add it a grom kit can cost about £300 or more. im thinking getting a se lux from 2013 onwareds maybe spend about £13-£17k depends on what i find any think i should be looking for. probably look for the 2.0 d4.

thanks in advance

I think as long as you have sensus system streaming is no issue most units with nav will be sensus there are some sensus none nav versions which can have nav added by dealer

After 2015 sensus nav updates are free via usb stick (download from Volvo website) earlier units need an update from dealer (paid) to enable usb stick updates

Older units without sensus May still stream if they have luetoothh handsfree installed

I've got a 2014 2.0D4 and you can get free Sensus map updates. Easy to do with a suitable memory stick.

Music streaming is as easy as it was in my previous 2013 BMW 328i.

Check to make sure the EGR has been updated to the latest version.

If you are referring to map updates these are done via My Volvo.

Or have a look here https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support.../download-maps

Some cars have iGo https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support...a80151010f65de
Believe this is different to sensus

A 2014 model will have been built to accept user updates. It was only pre-facelift V60 and S60 models that needed a dealer update to enable user updates.

He did, and was right to mention it. It's the biggest problem on the VEA (4 cylinder) range of engines!
