2012 V40 SE NAV - no DAB or HDD
 

I've just got myself into a 2012 V40 SE D3 NAV which I love more and more every day...

However the radio doesn't do DAB and the system has no internal HDD - I had these in my 2016 XC60.

Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit them?

When you say no HDD, do you mean for the audio?
Do you have USB interface? that might work for you.

As for DAB, well, make sure you know the MY.
A quick google shows people selling DAB tuners for 2012 V40s.
Likely need the DAB option enabled and software loaded to make it work.
Dunno about how a unit from another car will work in yours.

Yep no HDD for the audio. It’s not a major issue as I can just get a big USB stick but if it’s just a case of plugging one in then I might try....

Strange the first owner did not get DAB - the car has options such as ABL lights and winter pack.....
