Door won't close when it's frozen

On a few occasion, when the overnight temperature fall below freezing, my left rear door won't be able to close after I've opened it.

It only happen to that door and the only different compare to the other 3 doors is that the door is with child lock on.

I was wondering anyone had this problem before?

I will have to book it to let the service dealer have a look at it. I thought London is no where as cold as in the Nordics and such thing should not happen at all. I am worried that the door is not secure to drive in freezing temparature.

Thanks..

That sounds like a problem that needs a visit to your local dealership.

Given that you are able to open the door below 0 degrees Celsius, not being able to close the door again, points to a mechanical problem.
