Another T4 query!!
 

Hi all

I know there are untold numbers of threads talking about tuning a T4 engine, however I couldn't find any useful information on the transmissions used in x40 T4s. Tuning either the 1.9 or 2.0 engine to produce 300+hp has been covered, but my question is, will the transmission take the extra power?

I have the later 5 speed aisen warner gearbox. Is this the same gearbox as used in the rest of the volvo range at the time, ie S60 / V70 inc the R derivatives and are there any known limits on what the gearbox will take, either hp or torque?
