What I almost did today

I almost took the fuel sender/pump out of the V70.
Seats out, covers off - but no amount of home made tools would get the lids off the tank.
Resolution - pen and paper in the car to track fuel consumption!

Tracked the front wheels due to the car starting to drift to the right. After several attempts at adjusting the tracking, finally found that the right lower ball joint nut had some how worked loose, allowing the front right wheel to move on its own!

Locked it up again, and this time applied some thread lock. Tracked the front yet again and hey presto, nice and straight steering wheel and no drift :D

First contribution to this thread, so got a few days worth to mix in one post...

Sun 4th November : Fitted OEM Park Assist - Most difficult part is drilling the holes

Wed 15th November : Fitted new rear shocks - so simple anybody with axle stands and a trolley jack can do it

Oh... And today I discovered that my car has the towing software installed, which saves a dealer trip, jolly good...

Ordered the much-praised Grom iPod kit with Bluetooth. I've started spending on the car already and it has only been 4 days since I got it...
