Black dog Sep 7th, 2016 23:48

Cleared out the inside of my s60 today! Boot, back seats glove box the whole lot got the works! What a bugger of a job! But on the up side I found all the tools I was missing my house keys witch I haven't seen for months and quite a few tennis balls belonging to the dog!
Monster of a job but it's done now. Even put in a magic tree and everything😄

Prepped one of the Swedes for sale but not my Volvo.
I'm selling the 2005 Saab 9-5 Aero auto w/115,650 miles.
Had the rear rotors dressed and installed Wagner Thermo-Quiet pads and learned two things.

1) Turning a rotor costs $12.50.
2) The car has unmatched rear calipers.

In short, the clearance offered by one of the calipers wasn't high enough.
The highest point of the off-side outboard pad would touch the "ceiling" of the caliper.
I was able cut the excess backing plate of that one pad and all was well.

Imagine that! Kira

Well worth it. I nearly lost my NCB due to a non fault I could only prove was non fault due to other party admitting liability.

I've got them in every vehicle I own. They're an essential part of modern life, and I'm fairly certain manufacturers will start fitting them as standard, just like sat Nav.

I have not, therefore 'the results' are my subjective appreciation.
