Dyno Run 850R 1996 with RICA
 

As I write this im in my kitchen having a coffee and relaxing after a dyno run on my car...

NO one told me how loud these things are and how much they cain your car.. (Im Still Shaking)....at one point I thought i wouldnt be bringing it back !!!!

Anyhow with a RICA remap, Induction kit, 3 inch Exhaust it got to 262.BHP

Dont forget its an auto box so thats prob sucking some of the BHP away.

Did they give you the WHP? (The important figure and the only one thats close to accurate for an auto)

Plenty of torque to go with it I assume?

It is worrying seeing your car on a dyno, but its only really the same as you driving along at 2500rpm in 3rd and then going to full throttle to the redline .. you do thatw ithout a 2nd thought, dont ya? ;)

Its says on print out

262.9 P Eng

203.9 P Wheel

Meng 319 IBf.ft

6810rpm / 127.3mph

Its gained 10BHP from flxing leaks on the Vac lines and having the manafold cause before i got it the chap had one done and that was doing 252.

(Still shaking a bit.. jesus doint think id go though that again with my pride and joy !!)

Ouch! Nearly 60bhp lost through the transmission! Always shocks me to read things like that.

Took my classic mini on a Dyno..... I bottled it and pulled the plug! I didnt't even ask for my money back, I just couldn't see my old girl getting cained like that just to see if I had more than the 62bhp she started with after fitting st3 head/cam/throttle boddy etc.

I know she goes well, and she is for show more than go lol.... why did I waste money on the engine *face palm*

Surely in good condition and a good state of tune such a car should be a bit closer to 300 crank HP, auto or not?

I don't know but he said everythingbwas running perfect...fueling,boost curve etc..

Just age then I guess! :D Made me want another one badly now!

Can you post up a copy of the graph printout? That would be great.
