S40 d2 2010

Hey I've just brought the s40 D2 and have found there is no aux input for the stereo. Does anyone know if u can get one fitted or if there is anything I can do other than buy an fm transmitter thing. Thanks. :)

Hi
Does it have factory Bluetooth ?

If you have Performance (std) stereo with bluetooth factory kit installed, then there will unfortunately be no usb input.

I'd give your dealer a call and see what they can do. Theu may be able to help.

Yeah it's got the Bluetooth fitted. I have called Volvo and they are quoting me nearly £500 to fit an aux. shocking. Brought an fm transmitter, but I don't like the quality. :(

Your CD Player should play a CD loaded with MP3 songs , is that any good for you?

That's a good idea but to must hassle transferring all my songs on to a CD. Lol

I have exactly the same. Volvo wanted 500 + for the ipod adapter. I've seen a few 3rd party ones but they're not compatible either. Can't believe how the Bluetooth means you lose the aux - disappointing

True. Looks like I'll have to do that then. Must say, it's a better idea than spending £500. Lol still think Volvo should have put an aux in it tho.
