Bump stop
 

A rear bump-stop is busted on my 850R, the rubber section has come away from the base. I’ve tried finding a replacement but when asked have been told that bump-stops from a ‘standard’ 850 won’t fit an R. This doesn’t sound right, any ideas folks? I’ve found that Skandix sell the clips to secure the two parts together, but postage costs for a €3 part are significant! Thanks.

Have you thought about getting one from your volvo dealer ?

No, I hadn’t thought of that. I’ve only had the car for three months so I’ve not had any dealings with Volvo so far (I don’t think I’ve bought anything from a main dealer in the last 10 or 15 years!).
