Yeh I would give the ChrisKnotts insurance guys a ring as they are a broker I think. I tried them out and they beat any quote I got online, this is with my S40 T5 with mods at around £450 with 3 years no claims.

Just paid £385 for my XC60 fully comp. including business use. No points but one fault claim last month so back down to 4 years NCD.

For the first time ever the renewal quote was lower than I could get on my usual comparison site, so no soft toy for me this year.

I did.

They were some £200 over proposal from that guy in funny hat, leading armada of ships.

Its a gamble.. That's what it is.

I got 3 points some years back (may be gone by now, I need to check), no claims ever..
And I used to have bad, bad, drinking and misbehaving neighbours.
Coppers were literally coming and going, think revolving door.
Apparently insurances found out, and everyone on my street had £200+ hike in premiums.

Even after bad guys got evicted

Camskill seems to be a really good site, had 8 or so tyres off them so far and £30 for a T1R makes me happy.

Information used, thank you.

Points[endorsements when I last got one]used to stay "live" for 3yrs and so could be counted on totting up system if another offence was committed. After 4yrs you could send your licence away to have all trace of them removed. It's always worthwhile-though not necessarily ultimately any cheaper-to shop around for insurance come renewal time.

shop around and you could get a set of partworn with damaged sidewalls and 2mm tread for less than £100.
You can thank me later. :)
