Interior lights playing up.
 

Hi all, normally, when I open my door the footwell light comes on and so do all the other interior lights, then when you close the door the footwell one goes off straight away and the rest go off after either 30 seconds or 1 minute, but now I'm only getting the footwell one, none of the others are working, however, if I put the middle switch into the always on position then they all come on as expected, the same happens if I switch them on individually using the switches on the sides, I have checked and the aforementioned middle switch is in the correct position which has a door symbol on it.

Any ideas?

It might perhaps be that the driver's door switch is stuck in the off position.

Do the lights come on / go off if you open any of the other three doors?

It sounds odd since there's still power going to the lights, else the switch wouldn't power them on.

Perhaps others here might know if there's another reason?

False alarm, the human whirlwind that is my 5 year old son had failed to shut the passenger door properly, he has to clamber through to the front instead of getting out of his own door for some reason, primarily because he's a little idiot haha, but yeah, once I closed the door properly normal operation was restored :)

Glad it's sorted now.

Indeed, especially an autistic one, he's classed as high functioning, so is incredibly intelligent in so many ways, but not in other ways, he can count to 1000, and knows the Russian alphabet for reasons I don't know, but can't read or write, it's really quite mad.
