What is the "ECC"?
Hi all,
I've been going through all the fuses in my V70 on the look out for anything amiss. I have found one 5A fuse (I think it's number 26 under the glove box) which blows immediately every time I replace it. The owner's handbook says this fuse protects the alarm siren and ECC circuit. Can some kind soul please inform me what on earth an ECC is, please? Thanks! |
Seems it's the electronic climate control. It's drawing too much current for some reason, so I'll have to remove the unit. Hope it's not going to be a pain!
I kind of notice not having a heater in winter! |
Could be your blower motor? What is the year/model of your car?

Seems ECC problems are quite common with Volvos. |
Getting late here now so I'll sign off for today, I think.
Cheers! |

Do you ever get the "alarm system service needed" or something like that pop up?
The siren is a common fault, the internal batteries leak. |
