V40 T4 with excessive boost
 

A couple years ago I did the mandatory :omg_smile: wastegate actuator 'thing' to improve my V40 performance.
I now want to reduce it again but unwinding the actuator has no effect.
I already gave it 2 (complete) turns but boost is still around the 1.2bar mark...

What can be the cause? "Worn" actuator?
Mind you, the TVC is new(ish) and all the vacuum lines seem ok.

Sorry for the bad news. Have you checked the condition of recirculation valve diaphragm?

Can't think of anything else at moment...

Ah, prove that the wastegate actuator isn't leaking air through it's for. If so the internal diaphragm is perished.
