Advice please re problem with alarm
 

Following a hand car wash my alarm system and remote door locking has stopped working. It might be coincidence I know but wondered if anyone could help with what the problem could be. Fuse is one option I suppose but would welcome advice. It’s a 1998 reg 940 celebration estate
