Im not sure any of the forum members have seen this yet

As a person who has had a request from Mr Thompson (for whatever reason) I think he has quite a cheek.

I expect like Mr Hampster, I will be doing a little "digging" in the next day or too

Tired....

"Mortified" eh? If that's the case, then I profusely apologise wholeheartedly!

So they don't want criticism, yet they are dealing with it like children .. "I'm gonna sue you if you don't say sorry! Yous hurted my feelings!!"

Anyone wanna pull up the old "Arguing on the Internet .. " meme? I'm at work so don't have it to hand right now ..

Coat, Hat, TAXI! Before I receive a Cease and Desist order ...

Lets see if Russ opts for settling out of court this time as well...What's the bets Russ wont comment on this subject..More so why is Russ@RTMechanics still allowed to advertise on the VOC????

so folk who express an opinion now risk a "ir sueeeeeeeee you" ?
its got to be one of the most innovative advertising methods, keep your name Right up there in the car world by offering to sue any disgruntled people (who may/may not have been or be a customer) or anyone who offers an opinion....

Although I have had no dealings and only read posts past and present relating to this guy this step is definitely over the top and drawing the wrong sort of attention . Surely in a business where word of mouth gets you business you should be able to rely on the quality of your work without resoting to over the top expense . Freedom of speech is something we all value and the threat of legal action over something like this cannot be good for business .

Watch this space.

So let’s see if I have this right. If you infer that R T Mechanics are incompetent based on published customer experience, and you advice other community members that before RT Mechanics carry out any work on their car they should read this linky. A litigation letter will land on your door mat from RT Mechanics legal counsel? I sincerely doubt that any right thinking competent mechanic would find the need to use such a tactic, they would be able to present their case with factual evidence in an open and public medium to vindicate the inference regarding their competence.

Thanks for the "linky" st5ve, well over an hour of my life reading every word on every post. All done and dusted before my time on here, but informative and educational nonetheless.
