drivers side indicator problem

help indicator problem C70 2006

Hi all
Let the power of the forum begin,
I have a driver’s side indicator problem that’s just arisen.
Indicator only flashes once (1) front and rear. No problem with the wing mirror flashes as should
Hazards passenger side ok, drivers side once (1). Both flash once (1) as should when you arm, disarm the alarm system, dashboard green arrows flash as should and can hear the relay clicking, hazards switch flashes as should.

thank folks now go do your magic.. :star::notworthy:

update

Well folks update
After getting no answers I bit the built and got Volvo (Hatfield’s) Bury to look at it and was very hopeful with all their tech it would be solved but not to be, after being under the surgeon for 2.5 hrs at a cost of £264, hang on while I pick myself up, then said sorry but it needs a CEM module thought that sounds expensive was, to the tune of £800 fitted. whoops fell again, anyway this was last Friday, so spent all weekend looking for a cheaper solution, Bingo got a reply sorry forgot where from to say the CEM is situated under the glove compartment protected by a bit of carpet, and as the technician advised me if someone is over active with their feet they can kick the module and disturb the connections,(my Grandson) so Sunday I looked took it out and reconnected all the plugs and made sure all where locked in place, reconnected the battery and wallha all working again. Needless to say, I phoned Volvo to complain as the carpet had not been disturbed so no one could have looked if they did maybe would have seen the loose connection still waiting for the General manager to get back.
I want a refund and i will not even trust a main dealer again.
NOT HAPPY
But happy I saved myself £800
Cheers Gadget
