Just a thought - if that was extended warranty (by Volvo?) and replacing ECU really made headlights reset settings, calibration should be part of work carried out FOC no? Kinda like if steering rack was replaced under warranty, I would expect wheel alignment done FOC as part of service.
unless its a different case with you.

No, it was an aftermarket insurance based warranty, and tbh, I’d rather just get it done.

I take your point though, good shout, thanks.

My apologies, but I have spent about an hour searching both the forum and my memory.....

Does anyone local-ish to Tring/Aylesbury/Watford area have DICEVIDA, (or whatever the correct name is!?) and be willing to look at my headlights?

Thanks
Malcolm

are you going to the volvo 600 event ?quite a few v t members have posted that they will bring vida dice to help others:regular_smile:

Sorry, no, won’t be at this event.

Update; I now have the message "headlight failure service required", but apart from the aim being too low, no headlight problem, and the beams go through their initial checks ok.

I now have it booked in locally, and will report back in due course.

(On another forum I frequent there is a thread entitled "uninteresting things you did today". This could be a good addition💤)
