940 LPG Advice.

What system would you recommend for a 1996 Volvo 940 low pressure turbo? With 4 cylinder B230FK engine with cat and oxygen sensor.

What sort of cost and tank options are there?

Many thanks. James:thumbs_up:

I have the full kit that you need, unused, I didn't get to fit it before my 940 was written off, so I have all the gear ready to fit. I bought it from http://www.lpgc.co.uk/.

I paid 600 for it. But I will take half that, to recoup some of my outlay, as I couldn't claim that from the other driver, and now I have a 5 cylinder, so cannot be fitted to that.

Unless you are boosting to above 245bhp, this will deliver enough gas.

It has the tank for the spare wheel well, and all the piping and electronics etc.
Included in the price I paid was a session getting it all programmed.

I'm sure Simon (who is on this forum) will be able to help if you need more advice.

I favour AEB based ecu's on these. they will take a 79ltr tank n the wheel well.

The kit offered above would be a cheap option for you

I think my tank is a 71 litre, with a multivalve, so there is only the one connection to the tank needed.

Thank you both.

Sorry for the late reply, forgot I posted it!

How much would you accept for the kit GreenBrick posted to Staffordshire? Any idea how much it would cost to have fitted? I don't know if LPG installers would be keen to install owner supplied parts, install and sign it off. I haven't the means to raise car and fit the fuel lines etc and know nothing about LPG install regs and parts location etc.
Is there any install instructions?

I wouldn't mind travelling if I could get it fitted and commisioned and am Midlands based. I would certainly need a CERT or registered install on the LPG register? Do all insurance companies accept LPG vehicles?
