Air filter

I’ve an 850R with a standard air filter. What would most owners suggest regarding replacement? Same OEM filter, K&N panel filter or remove the existing filter housing and install a K&N cone filter? Any thoughts welcomed. Thanks.

Stock is perfectly fine up until around 280-300bhp. Don't will result in loss of power.
