New fuel pump

Hi
I just replaced a fuel pump on my Volvo S40 2.4 2006 model,
It is now heavy on fuel, it has been throwing different codes, like fuel too rich or too thin,
I recently filled up the tank and saw a pull of fuel coming from the top of the tank to the floor,
