Retro Rides Gathering 16th Aug. 2009!
 

After the hugely successful 2008 event Retro Rides Gathering is returning in 2009, bigger, better and more action packed.

Sunday 16th August will see the Retro Rides Gathering head to the Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset. As in previous years the show will have the finest Retro machinery representing the wide range of vehicles in the retro scene from hot rods and customs through to circuit racers and stock dailys. In addition to the fantastic line up of cars there will be traders, show prizes, cars from the museum offering rides and for 2009 the Retro Rides Gathering has RWYB sprint track action on the Sparkford circuit.

Cost of entry is £15 per car, so fill up with as many people as you can fit and make a great day out. Booking an advanced entry pass through the website will also get you one free pass to the museum. For full details of the show head to www.retroridesgathering.com

I've just emailed the Ireland guys about a possible road trip to this. Be tempted to take a run over myself anyway :)

I'm tempted but depends on how many miles I have left on the classic policy and what clubs are going (V3m, turbobricks etc)

and forget that. Just seen the date. I'm in the lake district then. doh!

I'm going, will be on the V3M stand. Now just need to try and finish a car to take with me!

Well my weekend away just got cancelled so I'm free now. Hoping to get on a stand but if not, I may pop down in the c70.

Quite a few from the volvo 300 mania site are going. I'm going but I think the 740 will be parked in the general car park area for this show. I dont think Turbobricks has anyone going.
