C30 D5 manual. Undiagnosed Limp mode

Hello guys.
Basically I'm having an issue with my 2009 c30 D5. I've had this car for 3-4 months and it kept going into limp mode with a generic reader it came up with MAF and MAP sensor. Originally I reset the codes once a day for a week so it would come out of limp whilst the new MAP and MAF sensors arrived. changed them and the same issue is happening. whilst coming off a slip road onto the M4 my boost pipe gave way (jubilee was more than likely old) and I managed to get it on briefly and drove to my friends garage so he could sort it properly. got it to my friends reputable garage and asked if he could change the belt(it was squeeky) and if he could diagnose the boost leak/limp mode problem. He tried and couldn't diagnose and now it never comes out of limp mode, even when reset. he asked a volvo specialist to come in and also couldn't diagnose the problem and now I've bought VidaDice. what would be my next step in finding what's going on?
My battery also died in my friends garage and the SRS and airbag light is on. Vida says change the SRS unit. but gives me no Codes for the limp mode issue.
If anyone could help me that would be great! would love to keep this Volvo instead of scrapping it!

first thing is dont read faults off the initial state tab . read off the delivery tab clear all codes and see which come back then click on vehicle communications and read each module which shows fault to drilldown on cause its possible your srs fault has been caused by a flat battery condition and its left a marker which can only be removed with a visit to a crash module specialist. cost is usually abt £70 have you had any flat battery conditions? try a known good battery and check if the alternator is charging volvos hate low voltage situations most of your codes will flag up with low voltages:regular_smile:

Ok, I will do that! On vehicle communications I have no faults apparently, I've gone through vehicle communication and into the srs module and I have found that the OWS module is disabled. would that be the cause of the SRS airbag fault? PSA

Is there a way I could diagnose the limp mode issue through VIDA? even though I have no codes?
Thank you

passenger air bag can be disabled to allow fitting of child seats there will be a switch to re enable the air bag on the end of the dash drive the car and rescan to see if any codes emerge after a limp mode event .

So the srs unit is solved! Had to send it away to Crash data and they sorted it!
Now onto the boost issue. What could be the issues for a limp mode that doesn't appear on VIDA

if your car has vacuum engine mounts check they hold vacuum check all vac pipes for leaks check the oil level is not over filled and look to see if your car has swirl flaps fitted if so check the actuator arm is still connected report back with findings
