75k Service
Can anyone give me a guestimate of what a 75k service is going to cost me? It's a V50 2008 2.0D - No DPF on her.
Thanks in advance. |
Sounds like a standard service. Nothing special. No additive to top up, no DPF to change. So oil, oilfilter, pollenfilter, airfilter. Maybe even diesel filter...

same as the 3rd year service fuel filter, air filter, oil,oil filter etc.

Cheers all, been an expensive month so didn't want the shock of a massive bill when i booked her in.

Ive just had the 75k service on my V50 2.0D at Volvo Northampton and it was about £330 but then I had them sort a couple of niggles as the car is for sale and want it to be 'tip-top' so I spent around £400 all in.

My wife's C30 T5 had a 75k service a couple of days ago.
The work done was the standard service plus all four sets of brake pads (the factory originals were still fitted all round) and both front suspension lower control arms as the bushes were wearing out, one in fact starting to pull apart; from what I read here, we did very well to get to 74,500 miles on the originals. Interestingly tyre wear was still spot on and there were no clunks or rattles, just an occasional suspension squeak like a dry bush. Anyway, labour was £229.96, parts (OEM for everything apart from fluids) £398.24 and VAT £125.65 giving a total of £753.85. Ouch, but this car puts such a smile on our faces every time we drive it that it's forgiven! :) |

Sorry to bring you down to earth, but I'm sure you'll be questioned aboutr this at time of sale. |
No DPF as i mentioned in my post, was a pre-req' when i bought her as i didn't want a £1500 75k service bill!
There should be a forum for DPF's i reckon!!! Thanks again all. |
No DPF on mine either
