Volvo 145 Estate *Free to Collector*
This Volvo is from Sweden but an original factory right-hand drive.
https://www.gumtree.com/p/volvo/volv...tor/1331256304 I bought it in 2001 in really good condition from someone who had recently imported from Sweden. I drove it for a year then had an accident which resulted in a bent front axle. I found a donor vehicle and replaced the axle but that is as far as I got. It’s been in my yard ever since. All the parts are there for full repair, panels and bumpers are all there however as it hasn’t been fired up recently so will need towing. I'm happy to arrange viewings however, it is in my rather busy yard and easy access won’t be available until April. So free to collector from Bristol at that point. |
Yes, I'll have that from you please!
Let me know how to get in touch. I have trailors ready for your instructions! Quote:

If Swedishandgerman's offer to collect doesn't pan out, I am a very keen backup option!

Angie hasn't been online since posting the ad...
They should also have at least one PM 😉 |
Just discussing this today, and it appears still no posts from OP.
Alive or dead? P |
He’s just winding you all up!

You could be right, although original ad sounded genuine. However, my fear is the dreaded street-crawling banger-racer/scrap lot have "saved the OP the bother of getting it out" and it is now just a memory.
My road was decent, but now the haven for the yuppy company-car families (it was all thoughtful older people when I moved here some 40 years ago) but one of the scrap-collectors had a double-take when he saw me working on my admitted shabby 240 project and offered to "take it off my hands for £50". I wonder what they'd have done if I wasn't in? P |
That is a real concern, 'Triple-S'. Only yesterday, we were out and about in Derbyshire. Got chatting to a chap who mentioned that he had an '87 one owner, 37K mile 245, which he described as being in excellent condition, in his garage, that he had thought about selling. He had no idea of it's value, but thought maybe £1500! He was amazed when I told him how much a similar model had made at auction not so long ago, and I hope that he will accept my recommendation to join the VOC and / or this forum. All I know about him, if he should happen to read this, is that he originally came from Leeds but now lives in Surrey, and was visiting friends locally.
Regards, John. |
