Which brand of replacement AC compressor?
 

Hi All,

Our C30 got the dreaded AC bearing noise a few years ago and I replaced it with a secondhand unit, now that has a bad bearing. This time I would rather use a refurbished unit so at least we are starting with a set of new bearing, but I'm not paying main dealer prices.

Looking at the usual online places there seem to be a whole raft of different manufacturers offering refurbished compressors, does anyone have any experience of who would be a decent manufacturer to buy?

i did replaced bearing in mine second hand as original failed and snapped my alternstor belt during the trip- luckily not damaged cambelt. bearing is quite cheap and job isnt that pricey. my local garage done that job
