Hopefully you have sold this car, but if not, you can increase your chances of a sale astronomically by putting the factory Volvo wheels back on, and ditching the Subaru exhaust pipe. You could also ask for a little bit more money as the mileage is low for the age.

The target market for the C70 (especially an automatic T5) would be a middle aged man or woman who wants something elegant, refined and fast.

Your car won't appeal to that target audience, because they will take one look those modifications and assume the car has been thrashed or driven wrecklessly.

You will always lose money when trying to sell a modified car.

Just my tip! Good luck with the sale.

many thanks for your tip and input. Im afraid I dont have original wheels and replacing exhaust means throwing more money at it.

I will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Thanks

I fully agree with the comments regarding the wheels etc. I fit the description of a potential buyer and am in the market for a C70 of 2007 to 2010 type. Is there anything I should be wary of?

A lot of these have ended up on aftermarket alloys due to the tendency for the gorgeous 18" Mirzam wheels to crack, although I must admit that I avoid cars with aftermarket wheels and a non standard mods like the plague when I'm buying, as does almost everyone else.

You could probably stick £800 to £1000 onto the asking price if you picked up a set of 17" C70 wheels (I got a set with nearly new tyres for £270) and put the standard exhaust back on.
