Hi Steve,

Are you looking for a minter, a project or something in between?

Hello Dave,

Ideally a mint one, but as they are getting rare I’d look at anything. Have you one?

Kind regards
Steve

Thanks guys,

I’ve seen that early GLT, shame they have done a man LPG conversion in it. Also what’s going on with the engine? Should be injection not carb. Is that because of the LPG ?

BicycleBoy Aug 25th, 2022 20:50

This one is pretty.... expensive.

The lpg converted one would have a carb because modding the original k-jet to lpg would have been.... interesting. Perhaps possible with a throttle body, but no lpg conversion garage would be doing more than the minimum.

Tbe big doughnut tanks need testing/replacing every 10 years, and unless you have access to lpg (filling station or high pressure dispenser on your domestic lpg tank) it's kilos of metal taking up space.

On the plus side, lpg purportedly causes less top end wear, so it's not a mod that causes detriment to reliability.
