HS 6 Carbs
 

Hi All

I am an interloper, MGB is my normal flavour....

I am looking to refurb a set of HS6 carbs with the tag AUD252. I have searched and cannot find any reference to them in the UK. They may be from a US model.

Has anyone come across them and have any info re UK equivalents?

According to my info source (Tuning SU Carburettors, Published By Speedsports, no ISBN No. with configuration chart), AUD252 configuration of the HS6 has DX Metering Needle, Red Piston Spring, and these fitted to the '67/'68 Volvo 144 USA with B18 (1788cc). AUD252 is not shown for any MG year or model.

Rebuild kits for HS should have all you need (0.100" jets, gaskets), and those items which configure carb do not normally get changed unless they are worn/or damaged.

The carbs are not for an MG . I will try to get hold of the book you mentioned.
