2003 V70 Door lock problem
 

Would appreciate any advice or suggestions regarding the following .

If I lock the car with the remote device the alarm will sound a short time afterwords.
I am unable to lock with the key in or at least it may take me several attempts before the locking system engages.
The information system on board advises me that the "drivers door is open" when it is in fact not.
Its is obviously all related has anyone had a similar problem

spray some wd40 in the latch and retest, if still not working you need to fit a new door latch
