2002 Drivers side headlight - Sport black edition
 

I had an altercation with a pheasant so need a new headlight :-( I have a 2002 V40 estate and would like an original Hella one with the black inside. I will buy a pair if they are both in nice condition.

Is that the standard plain black one or the later black one with chrome rings?

I think I have a replacement but the numbers on it are slightly different:

Mine: 1LG 007 861-40 and 30899681
Donor: 1LG 007 861-36 and 30899685

Does anyone know what these mean and if this will be ok? and no mine doesn't have any chrome bits on it.

Don't worry about the part numbers. As long as it look the same, you will be fine
