Volvo 480 Special Edition 2lt I gearbox wanted!!!

I have owned my 480 for 15 years and I am keen to keep it on the road.
I urgently need to source a gearbox preferably with a magnetic speed sensor in tact.
Please let me know if you have one for sale or know where I might find one.

Is it a gearbox or speed sensor that you need? In my experience, the sensor rarely fails. I'd suggest that you check the wiring and connectors. If you measure the resistance directly at the sensor, it should have a resistance of under 5 ohms.

I need a complete gearbox as I've only got 2 gears..... .ive had sensor checked by auto electrician ,who says its faulty,no one seems to be able to find why speedo won't keep working,even replaced it. Thanks
