Wanted - Future Classic Volvo 400 Series
Hello
My name is Karl and I am the owner of KGF Classic Cars in Peterborough. I have a particular soft spot for classic Volvo's so if you have an immaculate 440/460 for sale please let me know. These are up and coming classics in my opinion. Thank you Karl www.kgfclassiccars.co.uk 01733 425140 |
As ever we are looking for any classic Volvo!
Thinking of selling? Our proven commission sale or SOR (Sale or Return) program is a great way to utilise and access our professional services and facilities while still maximising the return from your vehicle with minimal hassle, stress and time, If you’d like to take advantage of this then please get in touch for further information. Alternatively If you’d like to move your vehicle on quickly and efficiently with minimal delay then we can make an offer on an outright purchase basis with payment and collection arranged soon after. |
see my advert in the "for sale" section. Advert is truthful and the car will be disposed of at the end of this month. The recycler calls if no-one wants it, so any offers invited,

KGF do seem to track down some nice cars and then shift them on via retro rides

Couldn't get through on either the land line or mobile, both dead numbers, so I emailed them and a fella rang me back. Very cocksure fella, car came to him from a Ford main dealer a couple of months ago. Sort of thing I expected really. Car sounds in fairly good condition, but when pushed about the rear arches he admitted there is "Some bubbling of the paint" so they'll be rotton as a pear underneath then. Apparently, he first listed the car at a whopping £2k, but it didn't sell so he reduced it a couple of times to where it's at now. I tried to negotiate on price with him, but he point blank refused to budge whatsoever. I explained to him that unfortunately there is very little market for these, and unless they truely are in mint condition, they simply don't fetch big money as they are seen as bangers. Either way, personally, I wasn't prepared to pay what I consider to be strong money for a 460 that needs a few hundred quid spending to bring it to the condition as advertised here, regardless of mileage. I may have been, if the vendor hadn't been so full of himself, but that put me right off. I have a serious mistrust of second hand car salesmen, having been bitten too many times before, so that sealed the deal, or lack thereof. Apparently, it WILL sell this weekend. Ok, best of british to you Fella! |
Many thank for the continued leads from the VOC members. We recently acquired a truly astonishing 440GLT through a club recommendation and it is currently being enjoyed by our operations manager Steve.
More classic Volvo's wanted please! Best regards Karl. |
I've a 460GL Auto with only 70K on the clock in very very good condition....tyres almost new, spare never been out of the boot. One downside, it's in Spain and would need to be transported back. There is a V5 but that was shown as gone for export so a replacement would be easy as it was never imported into Spain. Return shipping is about £400 by car transporter approx. It was stood for 2 years, charged the battery and it burst into life first go. Drove it around to loosing things up and apart from wiper blades everything worked.
Spec:1991 Dark blue, blue cloth interior, steel wheels, NO power steering. I have photos but can't post on here.......PM me. FREE to collector who pays transport. Not worth a carrot in Spain because they never sold them there...no spares in scrappies! |
Free?
I'd drive it back if that's the case! :D |
