Drivers Seat Belt

Good evening all. So I have fixed my seat belt that had locked up but now it is a bit sensitive and has to be pulled out slowly to stop it locking. My question is can I use a V70 seatbelt as a replacement?

Pre-98 should work, if you also swap the seat buckle receiver. 98 and on use different SRS ECM so might not compatible, though I couldn't honestly find any quantifying answer from my research when I had the same issue.
